Dr Amir Mansur

To prepare for his career as a chiropractor, Amir graduated from Murdoch University, Perth in 2014. He earned both a Bachelor of Science in Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science. He also possesses the following:
- Diploma of Remedial Massage
- Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy
- Certificate IV in Myofascial Dry Needling
A Holistic Approach to Care
When you come in for your first appointment, Amir takes to the time to listen to your goals and what’s brought you to the practice. From there, we identify the cause of the problem and if it’s something that chiropractic care or physical therapy can address.
Next, Amir targets the specific muscles and joints that are affected. He uses a combination of manual adjustments and soft tissue therapy to relieve the pressure on them and retrain the nervous system for correct biomechanics.
He also focuses on active care and education so you can maintain your health and wellbeing. Amir provides advice on exercises/stretches, nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits.
“I focus on doing the best for every patient. Manual adjustments and soft tissue therapy achieve the best results within the musculoskeletal system and are tailored to each individual.”
Finding Fulfilment Helping Others
Amir loves watching people improve with chiropractic care, especially when they’ve tried many other options. For him, it’s a great feeling when a patient says, “My daily headaches are gone” or being able to celebrate with them when they say, “I’ve hit a new personal best in the gym.”
While he’s worked with everyone from newborns to the elderly, Amir particularly enjoys helping athletes and helping them to push through to new levels of strength and endurance.
In His Spare Time
Amir is grateful that chiropractic can provide a great work-life balance. He and his wife enjoy cooking (and eating), going to the gym and catching up with friends. As a Rotarian, Amir loves to give back through community service both locally and internationally.
He also loves to learn, so he voraciously reads for both personal and professional development.
