Ian studied in Melbourne at the Phillip Institute (now Royal Melbourne Institute of TechnologyRMIT) and attend every workshop & seminar to learn other techniques linked with the nervous system over and beyond Chiropractic. This is where he became trained in Kinesiology and uses this technique to find problems in the body through the muscles. He was registered in Victoria in 1987 and graduated in 1988 with a Meritorious Service Award and has been a practicing chiropractics for almost 30 years. When people experience treatment with Dr Messenger they automatically understand his traits of perfectionism, trouble shooting, the thorough assessments he offers and his meritorious service. Before settling in Perth with his family in 2001, Ian worked in Toorak, East Keilor and Sunbury,Port Hedland, Newman, Broome, and Karratha. Ian’s multi faceted skills set includes a variety of techniques, including (but not limited to):

Zac Strom-Maddington Chiropractor

Dr. Zac Strom


Zac is a Murdoch University graduate and utilises the best research evidence when working with patients. He is most interested in managing musculoskeletal spinal pain involving the neck, mid back, low back and sciatic irritation. He is also at home managing all range of sport related injuries. Zac has been working with sporting clubs over the past 3 years, managing injuries and facilitating rehabilitation. Zac is interested in the influence chiropractic adjustments can have on athlete performance.Show More

Sam Morgan- Physiotherapist

Sam Morgan


Sam is a recent graduate from the University of Notre Dame (2017) where he completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Exercise Sports Science. During his studies he worked at various hospitals and private practices around Perth where he treated a rage of patient in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation.Show More

Sam has a keen interest in musculoskeletal injury management, paediatrics, and exercise rehabilitation. He enjoys working with clients to create an individual treatment plan so that the best possible outcome is achieved and uses manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation and education to do so. Sam aims to constantly improve his treatment options and knowledge through further studies provided by institutions such as the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Outside of work Sam maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys running, rugby, karate and rock climbing. His background from several different sports has allowed him to develop a wide range of exercise prescription options for use in treatment. She uses various techniques in her treatment that can aid the body in regaining balance and helping itself to heal. Her treatment techniques include Shiatsu, functional release and myofascial release and she tailors her treatment to the need of the individual clients. She will arrange a massage plan for each patient owing to the individual’s life-style needs and stages of life they are in. Chihiro is able to treat a wide variety of people ranging in age and physical needs and is keen to improve the quality of life for her patients.
